The blog Dead Horse March just ran a great interview with Ugly Hussy about his new LP, his live show, and his adopted home of Boise, ID. There’s also a playlist!

Check it out: Seven Questions with Ugly Hussy

  2. We’ve got a busy week on our hands. Here’s a full list of stuff going on in the next few days.

The full “Berlin 1971 EP” is now streaming over at Noisey. The band has a few dates in the works (3/27 at Vassar College, 3/29 at Steve’s Loft in Greenpoint, Brookyn), so come see them if you can!

The dude Ugly Hussy is back from an album-writing leave of absence for his first live show in a minute. He’ll be playing a set at the Treefort Music Fest in Boise, ID this weekend. We’re all psyched about the bill too: he’ll be opening for the abominable ARRINGTON DE DIONYSO and MOUNT EERIE. Friday March 21, 10:30pm, Linen Building, Boise, ID

Doozies and Flower Girl teamed up for a quick run of the mid-Atlantic coast this week. Last night they played a hometown show in DC, and they’ll be in Philadelphia, Baltimore, and New York in the next few days. Full info here. More on these two to come, but this page might offer a helpful hint (URL preserved): http://candusen.net/twanger/
